I absolutely can't stand my name. I just can't.
Back in The Netherlands nobody could ever pronounce it, and here in Mexico it's the same problem.
I'd love to be called "Kyra" or "Keira" though (or any other spelling of the same name). I just love that name.

Jennifer is a WAY to common, so I would name myself Kathleen. I love that name. It sounds so pretty.

My name is Samantha and my middle name is Jo. My parents planned it that way so they could call me Sammy Jo, though they never do. Ha ha. If I could change my name I would change it to Lyli (pronounced lie-lee, not Lily, don't be fooled!).

I love the name ophelia. I actually loved the name before i read hamlet. I read the name in a baby name book when i was 10 or so.

I've never minded my first name, but when you combine it with my middle name (Grace) it sounds SO HICK. Seriously... Emmy Grace is pretty red neck in my opinion.

I guess if I could rename myself I'd choose Emmy Christine or something traditional, simple and pretty/feminine. Wow, typing that made me realize just how big of a dork I truly am!

i used to have some problems with my name (Nadine).it is french so you just say "Nadin" but all the germans i know also pronounce the "e".. that was quite annoying. but well, to the question: i would name myself Lilly. a classmate of mine is called "Liliane" which is a beautiful name, too.
