I'm not sure if that is possible. I think I have the lowest recommended video card available. Whenever I try to play the game it always freezes. I'm about to sell it on ebay. Sad because I really like that game!

I know I have DirectX 9.0, but the video cards it says you have to have one of.. who knows. It was working for me for like.. 2 weeks and then all of a sudden I get an error saying it crashed and so after that it would just freeze on loading so obviously I had to uninstall it and now after exchanging it and blah blah it still will only install like half of everything and now my computer has some weird error.. agh. Can I rewind back a couple weeks ago?.. it'd be nice.

I'd love to run the sims 2 but I don't have the video card for it, and its quite an expensive card

They are already about to release a expansion for the Sims 2, called the sims 2 university

i just hated the simms because of how quick the time went. i just couldn't seem to master that part. i could never get anything done.

hey yall! so happy this thread is still alive since the major meltdown. Well I know some people are looking for really unique sims now, Just thought i'd post this link here becuase its for the sims 2.
Its got some really neat stuff like fearies and some celtic stuff.

Oh man I love this game but it runs pretty slow on my laptop.
I was going to install it on my regular computer but eh too lazy.

So I have like 20000000 lesbian couples.
And like half are in weird love triangles.
I like how you can build relationships with the people you hire to help around the house.

i got my sims to all have affairs with eachother lol nearly every sim now is "woohoing" with the hole of pleasantview lol
