I borrowed Sims 2 to try out, and it doesn't work. I managed to install it (using the 4 discs provided), yet when I put disc 1 in to load the game, it just has the starting image come up over my desktop, but then nothing happens and it crashes after about 2 minutes. Any suggestions?

I have what probably is a really simple question to answer, but I can't seem to figure it out. In pretty much all the houses I've looked at in Pleasantview, fitting a double bed in a bedroom seems impossible. I guess I should say, getting both sims to sleep in the bed without something being in the way is impossible. I can't figure it out, because all the double beds are the same size and anytime I try to put one in a bedroom, it fits, but when one sim is in it, the other tries to get in as well, but it can't because it acts like the bed is too big for the room. Anybody have any suggestions for me? I would greatly appreciate it!

Hmmm... are you sure that your sims like each other? they won't sleep together if they don't like each others enough... :P
The game has some little bugs... but it's great anyway!
I have a problem with my sim clothes... Have anyone here tried to buy new clothes 4 your sim? I have a big family, so i bought a lot of clothes for them. When my baby was born, i tried to go out and buy more for him, but i can't! It doesn't appear the option to buy... it's wierd, i though that maybe my wardrobe was full, so i bought a new one, but it didn't solve the problem... :P Maybe it's supposed to be this way, but i'm not sure....

I finally got to play it on Sunday and I had a blast! I really enjoyed the new additions to the game....like the wants and fears! It also seems to be easier to get the Sims to "hook up" in this one! Also the addition of having days off is so awesome! Perfect time to catch up on some studying or catching up with friends.

The only problem I had was during a cut scene the screen went black but I could still hear it. When it was finished there was a ring above my head so I am thinking I am engaged now!! What a time for the screen to go crazy on me!!

I'm loving my Sims 2! I've been going crazy working with Photoshop to figure out how that works to use Bodyshop but I've gotten the hang of it a little bit. I've made all kinds of anime shirts for my female adult sims using those tight sleeveless tops as the bases. I've made an Inuyasha shirt, a Wolf's Rain one, a Ryo'ohki (sp?) shirt from Tenchi and a Lain shirt. I even made an adult Lain sim with the little pony tail thing in the front of her hair. I also made several Hyde shirts including one, my favorite, that says "Hydeist" on the front and has a picture of Haido on the back and I made some Takeshi Kaneshiro shirts too. I also made some Aeropostale pajamas and workout suits.hahahah Oh and I got some patterns of different pretty Chinese dresses off the net and I've pasted those onto different outfits in bodyshop too. Ok yeah I've gone a little crazy with the close thing. Oh yeah and I made some different colored eyes like purple and gold and red and maroon. For some reason though I can't make different colored hair yet. I'm doing the same thing I did for the eyes so I don't know what the problem is with that. OOO THERE'S A SIMS2 COMMERCIAL ON RIGHT NOW.bwahahaha So as far as my sims go...I like to make really huge houses because I'm a big cheater and I type motherlode over and over to get my money..but my sims do have jobs b/c it helps with their aspirations. I haven't made a basement yet but I did find out how to do that so I'll be doing that next time I make a house. One of my sims is now pregnant which I guess is bad because her fears are to be pregnant and married and she is now pregnant and engaged to be married hahaha She's been throwing up every time I give her pizza and I make the guy that impregnated her clean the toilet hahahaha Oh yeah he's scared of having a family and being married too so they make QUITE a pair. I'm thinking their baby will probably end up being abducted by aliens b/c they will be too busy flirting with everyone around them to take care of it.haahha I think it's really cool how they can work out to workout shows on the television and I'm glad they learn how to cook from actually cooking instead of only from reading about it...I like the diff. dishes they can make..I like the days off...I like the new pools with the realistic looking depth and all..and I LOOOVE the better graphics! ok I'll stop for now.hah
