I think it was used again to tie together the two songs and make the album more unified. So you listen to one song and you hear the "yeah yeahs" and then you listen to the other and you hear it again so the two songs have something musically in common. It's another influence of classical music.

That is great thinking! I never would have thought of that. I think it really does tie the two together.

I’m assuming it’s because they, the two people in the song, finally got to be where they wanted to be, and no one stopped them. And there is no "Yeah yeah yeah" in "Lies." Just the "Ah's."

She meant there's "yeah yeah yeah" at the end of Anywhere, before Lies begins. She called it "in between Anywhere and Lies".

Oh okay. Sorry. Yeah I've noticed this. If you have an original version of "Origin" you notice that the "Yeah yeah yeah," in "Anywhere," goes into negative intervals at the beginning of "Lies."

I dont know about the EP one cause I've never heard it but as for the origin, I think its "You play the role of all who long to be" instead of "You play the role of all you long to be"

luna~12 is on a distinguished road
I've never heard the EP version
Anyway I found this in a blog on myspace.com/evanescence considering Origin:

"This was a limited release compilation of songs that Amy considers to be more a collection of demos than a real album. She's said in an interview before that she encourages anyone who likes their pre-Fallen, non-commercial work to download the songs. There are fakes of Origin abound on sites like eBay, and true originals go for hundreds of dollars."

Anyone who can confirm or defy?

This is true. Amy said in an interview that Origin is not an album, more like a compilation of songs. She encourages anyone who likes pre-Fallen non-commercial songs to download them because the band won't profit from any of the eBay sales.

yeah Amy and Ben (when they were 'them') said to download it. They really don't care. I was watching IMX wayyy back in the day on FUSE, and they said yeah its on kazaa or morpheus, and i have found limewire to be very resourceful in downloading origin and other old songs

I'm pretty sure it's against the rules (or at least very frowned-upon) to mention Limewire here.

BTW, you can find legal recordings from all three EPs (Evanescence, Sound Asleep & Mystary), Origin and the '01-'02 demos right here.
