i don't if you guys have noticed this but in whisper (fallen) the chorus straight after the instramental bit, where it goes "don't give into the pain" bit you can hear amy going "ha!". i know it sounds weird but i can really hear it. can you? skip to 3.06 secs and wait til 3.11 secs to hear it. is it just me?
AHH!! You beat me! I haven't been in this forum for awhile... well anyway yeah I noticed that awhile ago and spent awhile trying to show my cousin. It sounds a lot like a laugh, but it must be a breath. I love little things like that in recordings!

No, the We The Living Vol. 3 version is the same as the Sound Asleep version only with the beginning "Death in- Death in it's most hideous form" cut out.

Yes, I have noticed this. When she says “Away” you can hear a slide in her vocals and the “ha” is Amy actually breathing in, while she’s taking a breath. Also 4:15 - 4:17 you can hear an “Ahh,” which is very beautiful and low.

Someitmes Singers announciate the word differently while singing it as apposed to speaking it and a noise, that normally wouldn't, comes out. I've done it many times.
I can’t hear the “Yeah.”

It’s just the drum beat that you are hearing.

Also in “Whisper,” on the “Sound Asleep\Whisper EP,” if you reverse “Speaking to the atmosphere” you can hear “There is no one.”

It's not a "Yeah" It's as if she's saying "Awayah" Because of the breath in. You misread my post.

Where'd the band get the famous "Death in its most hideous form!" shriek associated with pretty much nearly all forms of Whisper except the "Fallen" and "Anywhere but Home" version? Was it from a film, and if so which one?

I think its from the film My World Dies Screaming, released in 1958, but I'm not sure.

I noticed that awhile ago too, I thought she was just clearing her throat. I thought it was a mistake, but who knows? I doubt she was laughing though.

Better known as "Terror In The Haunted House." lol. Link to the picture for DVD and here is the link to the picture of VHS.

Okay I have a question. On the "Fallen" version, around 0:11 through 0:54 and 1:22 through 1:55, you hear like this bass type noise, and I don't mean the bass guitar, what is it and what made it? It's like a sound effect thing I think.
