I for one was caught completely off guard by the fact that the administrator would make a thread on this subject and choose to put it here, of all places. This is more like evbored material. Debates generally involve logic, reasoning, facts, research... stuff that involves using your brain. Then there's the whole fact that the band rants subforum is here. Bitching about bands in a debate forum. Awesome. If anything, it should be a subforum of the Other Bands forum. I can understand that this topic easily causes a lot of discussion and that's what forumfactory wants due to activity/ad placement, but this is a hell of a place for it. Speaking of which, as someone who is constantly watching the economy and actively trading in the stock market, this was one hell of an investment idea. Pouring a few thousand dollars into buying this forum and hoping ad clicks on 200-300 posts per week would not only support hosting costs, but also pay back the forum price and turn a profit in a reasonable amount of time... I hope nobody at this company ever decides to become a portfolio manager of any sort. But then this isn't the topic at hand... I digress.
