If you are please post here and why you feel you'd be good at the job. We have 2 open positions at the moment. We'll give this thread a week and on next Sunday we'll consider the applicants and notify the chosen ones

Okay well, I'll have at it. I have been here awhile, I consider myself to be patient and helpful, I'm sure others will vouch for that, and I am here everyday, several times a day

...at least in the beginning. Then I roast them for their mistakes. XD

But seriously, I'd be good at it because I like making new people feel welcome around here, and try to do my best to let them know the hang of this place. Plus I've been around for long enough to know how things are run, so I'd be able to help those in distress.

And I know I don't post much, but I can always make time if needed.

Oh, and I'm prompt too, just look at how fast I replied.

EDIT: Aw damn, beat by one minute. Oh well, still good enough I hope?

i would love the oportunity to help out in this place. i'm on the board pretty regular, and love to give advice to the noobies who are trying to get to know the place. i welcome a lot of the folks in the welcome threads anyways, wouldnt be hard to make it a career......

anyone you ask will say i love this place, and have been dedicated to the board through thck and thin, both as computwitch and brainy smurf. I make it a point to be helpful when i can. i relish the chance to be helpful more often.

I think Trina would be a wonderful choice, she is super friendly and upbeat, she's essentially doing the job already, on her own! SO I hope she's reading this and this encourages her to throw her name in

I'll second the Trina nomination but I have to make one big suggestion. Please stop writing in stanza-like form. It's difficult to read.
