The reason why you felt attracted to this band. Style, sound, because it has a female voice.... Why this band ?

It was Amy's goth look that first got me. I loved that kind of style and when I saw her on TV I had to watch. I noticed her voice then and got into the band.

For me the main reason is Amy's voice. It's hard to describe this voice, but it have something in it

Also I like Ev song lyrics, they are great. And firsttime I saw Ev videos and started ti interest about this band I really fall in love with Amys style

My friend gave me a few MP3s of their old stuff, and I liked the way her voice worked with the music, even though I had no idea who was the one doing the singing at the time. xD. It just...fit. I could also really relate to many of the songs on Fallen, and even the old stuff.

It was a mixture of things for me. First and foremost, it was the lyrics. It's always great to hear a song that you can relate to perfectly. The fact that it was coming from a female voice added a lot. And her voice is of course beautiful. I don't know, it was a lot of stuff for me.

When i first got into ev it was when i heard BMTL on Daredevil. i thought it was really cool how well her voice matched up with ben's heavy guitar riffs. then after hearing a few other songs i was hooked.

My sister let me listen to her copy of Origin (idk if it was a bootleg or not, it looked like the real thing) and I liked the creepy atmospheric vibe it gave off

The Harry Potter videos they were associated with kind of helped and then i loved the songs, so i downloaded them

I totally agree. I can relate to many of Ev's songs and I think it's hard to find songs with such amazing and deep lyrics. I like their music and Amy's voice is awesome

The first time I ever heard Ev, it came on much music, and I wasn`t even
in the room at the time, but I heard Amy`s Incredible voice, and thought
my gawd, its one of the most beautiful things I have ever heard in my life.
So very unique, and just something I cant explain.
So ever since that one day, I have never stopped loving the music, and
her amazingly beyond talent!!
It was soooooo many other things as well, but that would take like ten pages
to write, so I will just say this!

I am a guitar player, and I LOVED that smashing sound of the guys playing!!
Evanescence FTFDW!!!!!!!
