Confused about something? Feel like there are some things that just don't make any sense at all and want to rant/discuss it? Now there's a thread for that very purpose. Fire away with whatever ya got. Here's one of mine:

For instance...why can't n00bs think of anything better for their username than a song lyric? Honestly. I haven't noticed nearly as much of it here as I have on EvThreads, but browsing the member list, one is confronted--dare I say assaulted--with sn0wWh1t3qu33ns, !mag!nary l!ghts, nearly a page and a half of "silent" something-or-others, almost as many "whisper" handles, any number of variations on Sweet Sacrifice, people who are, or are not, The Only One...and I didn't check the H's but I'm willing to bet there'd be a shitload of Haunteds there. I know my username is not the coolest one in the world...because it's just my name. But seriously, I'd rather use my own name than something that has been done, and risk being mistaken for 343495873457 other people. "Are you xSn0w.wh!te.qu33nx or SnOwxWhItExqUeEn?"

Also, why do we not have a "Sent/Read/Replied" column in the PM box? There's one on MySpace and I've found it very nifty. *runs to the Suggestions thread*

I have no answer for that question. But I have one of my own, sorta.
I understand why guys are taught to not hit girls and all that, but I like a good fight. I hate it when I want to fight someone, but guys will always be like "I can't hit a girl" but I think most of the time its just cuz they'd lose. Then you say that to them and they say "I would so win" And then you tell them to prove it and we're back at the beginning with the "I can't hit a girl" crap. I appreciate that men aren't aloud to treat women as property any more, and that domestic abuse is considered a crime now, and guys are brought up this way now so they'll respect their partners and everything, but what about the fighting?! Sorry, you might think I'm totally insane, especially this coming from a girl, but when you think about it, it really isnt fair. Cos why would you wanna fight with another girl? all the times I've gotten in fights with other girls they just bitchslap and pull hair. Thats not a fight! Like I said, dont get me wrong, Im not overly violent or anything. But when guys have an arguement or anything, they can just fight and get it over with. But no, girls just stab eachother in the backs and act like slutty whore bitches!!!! URGH! does anyone understand my ranting?

This is one of my questions about the horrific double standard that is Men vs. Women.

Why can guys do whatever the fuck they want to and get patted on the back by all their buddies? Example: a guy can go out, get shitfaced drunk, and sleep with three people in the same night, and it gets laughed about. If a girl does the same thing, she's a whore.

My most recent encounter with this...a friend of mine is coming to town in a couple days. I talked to him last week and told him I'd gone out to a bar Monday night, and he got so pissed off at me. To give him credit, he's smart enough not to TELL me what I can and cannot do, he just gets passive-aggressive about it: "I really wish you'd wait for me to get back...then we can go together...blah blah blah." And then two nights ago, he calls me at 1:45 AM, drunk as a skunk, just getting home from GUESS WHERE? The fucking bar. I called him on it and told him that if I have to stay home till we're together, then so does he. Asshole.

I've never been one to have gender-confusion issues, mind you, but sometimes I honestly believe life would be so much easier to deal with if one happens to have a penis.
