Not even going to attempt to understand what you're going through, It's personal and unique to you.

Instead I'll tell you that your family logo kicks bottom and I wish our family name had more iconic origins to use for a logo.

My Surname is Fosbrook. It's English and originates in the East Midlands but there seem to be a disproprtionate number of Fosbrooks in America and elsewhere than in England. I'm the second highest ranking Fosbrook on the internet thanks to the Uni I attended!! Type in Fosbrook in google and two Michael Fosbrooks appear!! Coincidently there is a playright from England with the same name as me!!!! I want to meet him!

Nice little poem. The message is straightforward... it doesn't need any fancy metaphors at all (although the lines about the tattered wings and the shattered heart are beautiful). It tugged at my heartstrings.

Spiderfall- Thanks. The logo I did in 1999 or 2000 for a family reunion at the Indian festival. It was our reunion year for the powwow. I need to find time to re-vamp it tho, because this year is our reunion year again. It's every 5 years. I love my indian heritage. I wish I lived closer to the tribal grounds so I can learn a bit more about our history. That's kinda cool about your Surname. Names can mean alot. I only wish i could drop my married name and go back to my maiden name. But I won't do that because my daughter.

Violette and Spiderfall, Thanks for the thoughts on the last poem. I've had so much weighing on me lately. I honestly sometimes don't know where to turn. I just re-read through what I wrote last night. I'm not a writer by any means. I"m really not sure where that came from, I'm not suicidal by an means. Tho that poem kinda sounds that way. I dunno, maybe an escape to some extent. I've had the line in my head for a while about wings being torn and tattered and heart shattered...I'm not sure if i've heard it somewhere or not. But it's something that repeated through my head. so I had it for my signature for a while. I've had an artistic block for a while. I can't seem to get out of it. Even with recording music. I'm not very good, but I've promised a few songs for people and I just can't get up the energy to do it. I dunno if emotionally I can't get into it. or if i'm too emotional to do it.

everyone wants something from me- I can relate to that a lot. Going back to the poem, you made everything sound great, and I really enjoyed reading it. It made perfect sense, and you can tell when you just want to quit. It's also sad toward the end of it, but it's the wording that really makes you think about it. Nice job with it.

Thanks Rach and Carmenescence. Things are going a bit better. I just seem to get stressed easier now days than I used to. So I just write. I don't even read it until a later time most of the time. I just write.

Hopefully I'll have some more songs up here within the next week or so. I got a new laptop. and It rocks. I havn't tried to record with it yet. But it has far more umph than my pc does. So we'll see what we can do with it. I'm a lil iffy bout the soundcard in it. it's an intel one I think. So it may suck. I dunno yet.
