There is nothing at all logical about your statement. As a female who has been in and around the music industry for 34+ years, I am offended for all the wonderful female musicians I have met who play guitar and/or bass.

Let him watch Lzzy from Halestorm and Syd and THEN tell us that women can't/shouldn't play guitar or bass. I hate sexist comments. >.< Honestly, what an inconsiderate thing to say. Not to mention ridiculously stupid.

Out of all places to say that, you'd think you'd have a bit of sense not to say that here. Evanescence is a band with a strong front woman, who is big into being strong, and sexist comments are NOT acceptable.

I am a musician myself, and saying that piano is more "suitable" to woman than bass & guitar because it's "easier" for women to do is not only absurd but so ignorant of you to post. You should know better than to post this. I was deeply offended as many others were by this very hurtful & insulting comment.

To anybody reading this: I've got a huge temper and I'm VERY much trying to control it, so if any of this was an unacceptable response, sorry. I was trying to keep it down.

oh crap! we'll miss will, he's so freaking funny... damn and i thought that the only downside to amy posting was the dieage of the board (gotta love that one). i say this cause she's the one breaking the news...

well... i'm really sad for his departure but i honestly can't wait to see who are they gonna get as the new bass player, for some reason i can't stop thinking about paz lenchantin (don't ask). but hey let's wait and see...

mmm, that wasn't that good... It seems that you and the band have gone through nearly everything while doing this album!

I was in a concert two days ago (I'm in denmark and it's the jazz festival here, which I didn't know when I came...) and I was thinking just about that, of how hard it has to be to get on one of this tours... It was a Jaime Cullum concert, it was good, they played very well, but you could see they looked very tired... The concert was very good actually, it was very crowded and everybody had a good time...

Anyway, I just hope you find a way to relax and not let the tour stress you... try to enjoy it as much as possible!

That is really sad that he decided to leave the band but he had his reasons. It's going to be so wierd watching ABH knowing that he won't be with them anymore. V_V I learned so much from him on that video, like how to open a bottle with a pop bottle, and that barbeque chips are really good.

I support his decision and I just hope that the new Bassist will be just as good if not better.

We'll miss you Will and I wish you the best of luck at anything you decide to do.

after all this time and as we're getting so close to having a new album
well, i wish him the best of luck in whatever he decides to do after spending time with his family which he needs

i hope the search for a new bassist is successful and that you guys find someone who will fit the mold of the band as well as will did

im still anxious to hear the new album
i cant wait
