The first few EV concerts I went to, I discovered the most wonderful band called "Revis."
Revis was also part of the "Daredevil" soundtrack like Evanescence.

They were on tour with EV in the early days, but have since disappeared and broken up...
They simply blew me away when they opened for EV at "The House of Blues" in New Orleans, Louisiana, on May 12, 2003!

But I think it would be fantastic to get Bob, the Revis bass player, to join Evanescence!
He was a super nice guy (like Will) and would always stop and talk to people.
His full name was Bob Thiemann.
Here's something he wrote on the Revis web site right before beginning a tour with Evanescence:

April 12, 2003
"Yo yo yo! whats shakin' all you funky internet users! Bob from Revis here, we just arrived in Nashville TN
not too long ago to start our tour w/ Evanescence! (or so we loving call the REVANESCENCE TOUR! hah"

Anyway, it was just a thought.
Replacing Will is not going to be an easy task, he will be dearly missed.
But I have faith in Amy and the band.
I think they did a SUPER job when they hired Terry! <<< shameless Terry plug! TERRY ROCKS!

So Amy, what do you think about trying to find Bob to play bass? Crazy thought??

This is very sad, but good thing that he decided it on his own, and that there was no terrible fight or that he left the band in the middle of a tour!
I hope he will still contact the band now and then!

But I wish him good luck in his life!

It's a shame he won't be with the band for the album's release, promotion and tour... but I wish Will good luck for the future. He's a legend!!

Thats's a sad news, we'll miss him a lot!

Good luck to him in everything, but hope he won't completely disappear.

Dang thats a lot of changes WOw I didn't think it was that many. This band has it really hard at times and when its hard they have it worse it seems. Maybe cause we care for them. I just hope the new one fits in like as well as terry did. it was like terry was suppose to me in this band.

This Sucks! But it is for the better for Will. I think Will would be better off doing what he wants to do, and what he wants to do now is be with his family. I do wonder though who are you gunna get to replace him? I hope it all works out, actually i am pretty sure it will.
