I heard a rumor on evanescence.it that the song is inspired by the album artwork for anywhere but home. In a post attributed to Rocky's nephew's friend's cousin's wife, Amy and the record label have scratched the single they were going to use (Narnia something or other) and have opted for the supposedly titled "Eye" instead. I guess the reason for the rumored delay in the album's release is because they're trying to figure out if the song would lose its mainstream appeal if they put any other words into the song.
