What was wrong with figure skating pairs today!? 4 falls!!!!! Poor canadian woman, her fall was the worst! I seriously can't watch such things in skating, most sports, yeah, buuuuuuuuut not in skating. Don't even know why.

BTW, has anyone watched it yesterday? WTF's with judges? 4 years of doing nothing and highest points for the italian pair? Beside, performance wasn't that great too imo.

Maybe the judges thought they were the best? If it was a Rus team I doubt you'd mind so much

But yeah there have been so many falls recently! It seems that everyone's been falling! In fact I start getting amazed when someone doesn't fall!!

BBC commentators (one of whom Olympic champion Robin Cousins) were also shoked when Italians were first as they weren' the best. The same reaction I found in press and on Olympic Games Forums !

Well, life put everything into places. Now they are out of contention. I actually won't be surprised if they decide to drop out of the competition. They definately came to win the gold, no they lost their chance! Did you see thier faces after they fell. For a moment I actually thought the guy would kill the girl. The ineresting thing is that the fall was the guy's fault! What a bastard!

I told you, experts gave them 7th-9th position max for the dance.
Actually, I doubt they'd be in the first 5 positions in the end.

Anyone here a fan of short-track speedskating? I stayed up late last night to watch Apolo win a bronze medal (though the final race was a little too tense to watch!).

Ladies' figure skating starts on Tuesday. Yayness. And bobsledding is on right now. I think that's a pretty cool sport. Makes me think of one of my all-time favorite movies, Cool Runnings.

Now if only a Jamaican bobsled team was on TV right now. *lol*
