Surely it's not as exiting as snowboard, but is' got its own charm in it and very helpful for educational purposes: I, for example learned how to do the cleaning properly

Olympic humour:
Today I came across this interview with Johnny Weir (people call him Weird and he is indeed weird) - the only America's hope in Men's Figure Skating .
First I thought it was a joke, made up by some clever writers, but then it turned out that it was real. Johnny explains why he lost a medal,

Quote:
"I missed the bus. They changed the schedule. It was every 10 minutes. Today it was every half-hour. I was late getting here and never caught up. I never felt comfortable in this building. I didn't feel my inner peace, I didn't feel my aura. Inside I was black."

"I was off, it was an off night," said the 21-year-old Weir. "But I will be back in four years, hopefully for a medal."

And another one about Jacobelis, Johnny the Wierd and Martin Retti's hairstyle : Olympics: The Best and Worst of Week One http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn...021701574.html

Congratulations to Shani Davis and Joey Cheek in the men's 1000m speed skating competition. Shani becomes the first African American to win an individual gold in Olympic history and Joey Cheek winning his second medal of the games. Granted, Chad Hedrick and Shani Davis have their differences, but deep down to do what they've done in the games, they have to respect each other. Great job by all three and also Apolo Anton Ohno for adding a Bronze to his 2002 Gold and Silver medals.

Shani Davis is the biggest jackass. Did anybody see his interview after he won the gold? I couldn't believe the way he was acting.

Maybe it would be a better idea for their copmetition outfit: this way they less resemble cleaning housewives
