I have absolutely fallen in love with their song....Stand My Ground!
Very deep, meaningful, touching, and has alot of strength to it.

I made my friend listen to them a while back, and he now loves this band, and he can't really stand all the gothic/metal bands I like.....

I tried getting him into nightwish, but, alas....he can't stand Tarja's voice, and doesn't really like Anette's either....

I'm back from Download. The weekend in general was brilliant. Loved WT's set. Unfortunately, I didn't get any pictures worth you seeing as they're not that good. The stage set was fantastic, flames and those lion statue things with wings.

Never managed to get to the signing in time unfortunately, however I did meet Tarja and got a picture with her. Might post it on the Tarja thread later.

I've been to a workshop in Holland yesterday

Ruud, Jeroen and Stephen were there to talk about their music and the way they make their music. It was very interesting

There were only about 15 persons

The stage was really small, I could grab their feet

It was a lot of fun

Meanwhile, I'm psyched they're finally releasing Mother Earth and Silent Force in the states. I can finally own my own copy of each. (:

I wonder if it will be released in Canada, at the same time as the US!?!
Most things come out first in the US, then it will come out in Canada
a couple/few weeks after.
I would love to buy this DVD, it sounds awesome, and now that I
have really gottin into Within Temptation.....I would love to own it as well.

ive only got the silent force album though...are the others as good or are
they not as symphonicy and more metal??

Silent Force IMO is more catchy than the other albums. THOE is just as metal and maybe more symphonicy? Not sure. They are all good.
Mother Earth is a really good album, but compared to Silent Force and THOE it's more 'toned down' kinda like, it's not as metal or symphonic I don't think. I don't hear any symphonic sounds in ME, at least not like in SF.
