having said that, I don't really care for netball either.

I guess I'm not a big fan of 'team' sports where the team can be made or lost by one 'star' player.
but then I row in a single scull so I'm used to having to do every thing myself

Tana Umaga out!!!! & Rokococo likely to miss a few games!!!THE HUMANITY!!!!!!

What a dark day for New Zealand and rugby fans everywhere with 2 of the best players in the world cup suffering injuries in the first pool games.

Did anybody else catch the highlights of the France V Fiji game yesterday? The French were on FIRE!

Fab game... spoiled by fisticuffs... Never mind.

How good was that USA vs Fiji game yesterday? Bloody brilliant if you ask me, without a doubt the best game of the world cup so far. America played so well and I still can't believe that they were beaten. For anyone that didn't see it heres a recap of the important points. Just bare in mind that Fiji were expected to slaughter the americans.

America take an early lead with 2 penalty goals. They hold this lead until about 20 minutes to go. A few tries are scored and all of a sudden its 19- 13 to fiji. America needs a converted try to win. With 3 seconds left in the game the americans crash over, scores stand at 19-18 with the kick to come. The goal kicker hadn't missed a kick all game and now he is faced with the ultimate pressure kick, not only to win the match but also to break the 16 year loosing streak of the USA. Thats right they haven't won a World Cup game in 16 years and now that can all be undone with one kick. In dramatic fashion the ball sails towards to goal posts and misses slighty.

I really feel sorry for the goal kicker (whose name escapes me at the moment) and for the whole american team. They were the better team on the day and deserved the win.
