I did for a couple of weeks thanks to tob....it is quite similar but...better...
and Night Elf Hunter seems to be the most popular class regardless of its current latter level issues...of course this is also the first char I played and the one that is highest level and I do like him. But i have a tendancy of liking anything. Mages are kinda fun so far and shammies are kinda cool as well. I havent seen any crows yet but i have an owl pet. |

I paid to get into the stress test ,and I'm really torn over this game right now. The upside of things is that it's a whole lot of fun and there seems to be so much to do that it could keep me interested in adventuring for months. Now the downside is that even though I've only had a week to play this, I feel like the game is slowly becoming my life. Whenever I'm playing I don't want to stop. I feel like WoW is more interesting than real life. Now I don't play for like 10+ hours or anything. In fact I usually only play for 2-4 max. Still everytime I finish playing I still wonder just how the game was able to immerse me for so long. It's really kind of scary and has me unsure if I want to buy the game when it comes out. Other than that I am quite enjoying it playing a Night Elf Rogue which is tons of fun. Although I'm relieved for now that the stress test ends tomorrow so I can try to sort my thoughts out on whether or not I could balance playing it and real life.

I'm very impatiently awaiting the release of WoW. A friend of mine got in on the stress test, & a few of us went insane playing around & seeing what it was all about between server deaths, & it looks like it could be a lot of fun.
I've been playing FFXI since a couple months after it came out in the US, & have recently lost my taste for the game, & WoW seems to not have the same annoyances that plauged me in FFXI. Here's hoping. ![]() I searched for the other WoW thread Jeebus said he started, but couldn't find it. General incompetence on my behalf, I'm sure, gonna go see if I can dig it up now. ![]() |
