Woo hoo! I found Jeebus' thread!

When we were playing around in the stress test I had a Human Paladin (I had a Paladin in both FFXI & NWN & enjoyed them in both) & it was pretty fun. I had a big hammer & was just clubbing the crap outta stuff, woo! (any Gallagher fans?

) So I think when it's finally released I'll be trying out Paladin more, especially seeing the job wasn't completely finished when I played it.

My friend had a Night Elf Hunter which looked like it was a lot of fun, so I'll prolly end up trying them out as well, cuz having pets & ranged attacks is another of my playing quirks, & they usually don't mix w/pally too well.

Two of my RL friends are gonna be starting on release as well, & we're planning on starting a guild w/us & some friends that are migrating from FFXI. Right now we're all just kinda killing time until release, & twitching & talking about it, & basically hoping it lives up to our expectations.

I wanna mess around more when the open beta starts, which I think is soon, but not really sure. Hoping more of the newer classes' traits & abilities are introduced, get more of a taste of how things are gonna be.

Fingers are crossed, here's hoping.

If you are interested in WoW, you should try Star Wars Galaxies... good game... but they keep making it harder and and harder ot become Jedi.

I have been playing SWG, for about a year now, and I still have not become Jedi yet

But anyway, I am definetly going to be playing WoW... I am not sure what class I'll be in yet though.

My guildmates are all gonna make me play Horde though, because they don't wanna have to deal with 1337 idiots like Llegollass and Gimmlee.

Assuming I get the game which I likely will, I wanna play NE Rogue because that's what I played during the stress test so I'm familar with the class plus I just like the Night Elves.

That and I'm also familar with the NE home territory now from what I played during the stress test so I think it would help me jump start my character a little faster. Only thing I have to worry about now is being able to bide my time so I'm not ALWAYS playing WoW.

Lemme rephrase that...I've been an elf rogue since before I started playing D&D over a decade ago, so no matter what game I play, I have to at least give one a whirl...

I totally understand and agree with the arguments against Alliance though. For anyone who played DAOC, I'm sure you'll agree Albion attracted 99.99% of all the 1337 d3wdz, PvP inept, and just plain socially retarded morons.

once i considered to play an elf druid..but i dont like nightelves at all, i even hate them in warcraft 3 (especially the keeper of the groove ;D).
but when most of you are an elf rogue or hunter for so long you should play it

i have always played the orcs in wc3 so i have to be one too in WoW.
