creepy.
I would NEVER stand near the edge of that HUGE hole.

I love to look at glory holes in dams. I always imagine myself swimming in. They're so interesting...

As far as creep factor goes, I think the hole on Mars is a lot more frightening than the holes in this world. 0_o

Are you sure that you've given us the "hole" story here?!?!

Those are pretty amazing. I never knew that dams had those as part of the structure. The mines ones don't surprise me, except for the sheer quantity of earth moved during the making of them. And that one in the ocean does look like a wonderful place to dive.

I'm sorry, but there is no way in hell that I would pilot a ship over that Great Blue Hole in Belize. I know that the ocean is a lot deeper than that, but just the feeling of sailing over it would give me such creeps. *Shudders*
