I love that show! It's great, I used to watch it when I was younger as I loved the fantasy aspect to it (since it came out on the UK). I've got a few of them on DVD, too, and am hoping to get the rest of the seasons. Haven't seen much of the last series, though.

Callisto was my favourite character, until they made her all good and annoying.

i was like..an uber xena fan..more so a lucy lawless fan actually.
i still have all my vids.
i have complete season one and two and i have the hercules trilogy..meaning the three eps from hercules season one that 'started it all'
i also have the four hercules made for tv movies..my fav being the amazon women because lucy was lysia the amazon in that. yeh..i used to chat at the xena.com chat room..then i found the evboard!
btw, babbyx....being short for babbyxena
that's what my name is at the xena chats.
but yeh..im gonna buy the third season on dvd when i get the chance.
i kinda lost interest after the fourth season tho..i dont know, it just got to the point where if you hadn't seen all the episodes before the one you're watching, you won't have any clue what's going on.
i don't have a favorite epi, but comedy of eros is a good one, then the musical odyssey ofcourse...yeh..lotsa good ones.

I think Amazon is crazy lol Their Xena video sets are like $99.99 and Best Buy has the DVD SET for $44.99 with extras! It's crazy *shakes head* In my opinion that's not bad at all for 22 eppies and 9 hours of extras. I've got season 2 and just got 3 on dvd (which is really good because it's got some really good eppies) and I've got almost every one from 4-6(season) taped lol I have only a few in season one becasue it takes a bit for a show to take off and season one was my least favorite. I'm in the process now of going through my tapes and making a log of what's on each tape because with like 15 tapes of up to 6 shows it takes me foreverrrrr to find the eppie I want to watch I really miss the show being on because I was much younger when it first came out so I remember watching a few but I know I didn't see all of the eppies. Thank God for Oxygen which is a channel I get down here that has Xena repeats on so I got to complete my collection lol I want a Xena movie! lol

I used to be devoted to that show! I even have all the DVD's, that's how obsessed I was, well...not obsessed, but I real enjoyed watching it. Was anybody else shocked to hear that Kevin Smith aka Ares had died? That really upset me, because having been such a big fan of the show, I found it really strange that one of the most charismatic characters had died.
But yeah, that show rocked and even though ive moved on from it now, it was fun while it lasted.

slidecontrol will become famous soon enoughslidecontrol will become famous soon enough
I was never a fan of the show but I often go surfing at the main location where the show was filmed. Its a place called bethells beach, west of auckland city. famous for its wild surf.
On a sadder note, I knew Kevin Smith I had worked with him on some local productions , he was a rare breed. I miss him as do so many others here.

Oh no, I didn't know he died. That's so awful. =(

Oh and is it just me or does Calisto look like a white Halle Berry to you?
Not to me. The common feature is their high cheekbones. Outside of that I think Halle is a lot prettier.

Y'anno thats exactly what I thought about as I was reading this thread.
Apparently he was crushed by some falling scenery. I miss the guy, he was really funny. I used to really enjoy the show. It was one of those things we'd watch as a family... which is sad because we really dont do that much now.
