Y Tu Mama Tambien [MOVIE] - EvBoard

Has anyone ever seen this movie. It's one of those foreign films that you really get pulled into. Here's the plot summary of the movie:

Abandoned by their girlfriends for the summer, teenagers Tenoch and Julio meet the older Luisa at a wedding. Trying to be impressive, the friends tell Luisa they are headed on a road trip to a beautiful, secret beach called Boca del Cielo (Heaven's Mouth). Intrigued with their story and desperate to escape, Luisa asks if she can join them on their trip. Soon the three are headed out of Mexico City, making their way toward the fictional destination. Along the way, seduction, argument and the contrast of the trio against the harsh realities of the surrounding poverty ensue.

Some people who haven't seen the movie and only have heard of it might say it's too sexual, but it's not. It's so much deeper than that. The movie is about self-discovery.

If you do think of seeing the movie, watch the un-rated version. It doesn't have the same affect with the R-rated version.

And an interesting fact is that the guy who directed this movie, is also the director of Harry Potter and the POA. Cuaron (the director) even put a little Y tu Mama Tambien tribute in PoA. Rep points to anyone who can find out what the tribute is!

had nothing to do with their message boards. i looked up the movie and clicked on trivia. no, i haven't seen the movie. either of them.

ive not yet seen y tu mama tambien.... however i really really really really want to. i like a few of the actors in the movie and i saw the previews several times.

hopefully ill see it sometime soon

I have seen that movie. Though I don't really remember much of the argument, I did like it (otherwise I'd not even remember it

As any foreign movie, at my point of view, it's kinda weird. And, well, it depends on how age are you if it's too sexual or not.
But, the sexual parts go well along with the movie.

I'll rent it and watch it again.. hehe

Though I don't really remember much of the argument, I did like it (otherwise I'd not even remember it ) As any foreign movie, at my point of view, it's kinda weird.
