So if there is an agree and disagree option before you upload a video, does the terms and conditions require someone to credit the person who's song they are using? People are just going to click the agree anyway and ignore the conditions, so whats the point of having conditions when no one is going to abide by them?
(btw I have never upload a vid to youtube so I am just guessing there'd be something about crediting in the video)

And as b00bles has already stated, the point of YouTube having Terms & Conditions is so they can cover their own ass.

One of my vids (A tribute to Krista Allen) was taken down because of the song I used, I gave credit to the artist but, say la vie. What I don't understand is how my Krista Allen vid gets cut but there are fan vids for other celebs that have been up for YEARS with copywrited songs, that don't get taken down. Either way I didn't have a bitch flip about it, I was just like, "Okay it's gone, that's annoying I was caught"

It's just like Fanfiction.net (which I have an account on) You aren't supposed to go beyond an R rating for fics, but if you do NC-17 you can post it as long as some whiny ass doesn't report you. So yeah, I think it's the fact that a lot of the videos haven't been reported. I do get pissed when I "Favorite" a vid and it gets pulled, but whatev. It's the internet, deal with it.
