What are the songs that totally put you into a romantic mood and that are best listened to cuddling or slow-dancing with your loved one?
Can you pick just 3? I'll let this run for a month or two and then make a list compiling the top ten suggestions. This might be the make-out mix of all time with your help Here are mine for a start (in no particular order) Something-The Beatles Layla-Derek & The Dominos Unchained Melody-The Righteous Brothers AnD (Incurable Romantic Man)

Mazzy Star: Fade Into You (best...ever.)
Spiritualized: Ladies & Gentlemen, We Are Floating in Space (this one has possibly the most beautiful lyrics I've heard in my life) Jeff Buckley: Lover, You Should've Come Over (Jeff's voice was pure magic) I definitely agree with the Beatles' Something as well. Edit: I know I already listed three songs, but man, I just -have- to include the Beach Boys' God Only Knows in there too. That song...oh, man. It makes me do this every time: ![]() Last edited by China : 07-10-2004 at 01:54 PM. Reason: Forgot something... |

I agree with Mazzy Star - Fade into you, that's a beautiful song.
I would name the lovely songs from Counting Crows and Damien Rice but they're normally about how love has betrayed them and everything sucks so maybe not. Michael Bublé - moondance, I know that song wasn't done by him but I love his version, and although it's not really slow it's all lovey and happy and I like it ![]() James Taylor - Fire and Rain, which is my all time favourite.

I don't know if I have three favorite, but here are the first three that came to my mind...
Unchained Melody Eclipse of the Heart Without You
