Your inspirations for such touching songs?

Dear Evanescence,
As I sit here listening to "Taking Over Me", I began to wonder what inspired you all to write such beautiful music? Was it natural or did you write from expierence?
Have you always been this epic and dark or did an event change you to become this way?
You had recently said "I have found a lot of inspiration."
Just wondering what inspired you.

I know Amy has said that she writes from her own experiences. I think that's where she gets her inspiration, just as a lot of us here do.

I'm sure you could write beautiful things too. Listen to your heart. <3
