No she doesn't. It was inspired by Terry's "Pantera" obsession. Here's the quote from the site.

Quote:
"Your Star"
The jet-propelled coda was inspired by Terry Balsamo's Pantera fixation.
A couple of years ago, I felt so alone that I was dreading going on tour. We had just arrived in Lisbon and I was in my room feeling jet-lagged, weird and tired. I had just been home where I could see the stars at night. But when I looked out the hotel window in Lisbon, I couldn't see anything because we were in this big city. That was the last straw. I felt so depressed, I just started singing this song.

No, that quote just says that the coda (the ending) was Terry's work and that the song itself was about being lonely in Lisbon.

I think this would be an AMAZING song to start their new setlist with. I can just hear the piano intro in the darkness (a bit longer, maybe), then hearing Amy's voice.....it'd be class.

Ah, I must've misunderstood.

My bad y'all.

I first listened to this song in its entirety yesterday (yes, after having all the songs for over a week) and I fell in love with it in the middle and towards the end--the choir and climax of the song really hit me.

This is a great song and I really love the lyrics to the chorus.

Knowing what inspired this song makes me have a new appreciation for it. I adore the night, too, especially seeing stars. It annoys me when lights are so bright I can't see them. This is one of the few Evanescence songs I can actually relate to.

Yah I hear it. I think its just someone from the choir singing a really high note. makes for an epic ending IMO.

I LOVE this song once it starts to pick up with the choir and the beat comes in so clearly. I'm not so fond of the beginning, but this is going to be awesome in concert.
